This policy explains how [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“BakerTab”, “we”), [ENTITY ADDRESS], handles personal information when you use bakertab.com and the BakerTab app. Contact: [PRIVACY EMAIL].
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture from Google.
- Business details you enter: business name, state, city, label address or registration ID, phone, hourly rate, prices, recipes, ingredients, expenses and mileage.
- Your customers’ details: names, emails, phone numbers, order notes, important dates and photos that you or your customers add through your order form. You control this data; we process it on your behalf.
- Uploads: receipt and invoice photos, recipe photos and logos.
- Billing: your plan and subscription status. Card details are collected by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record; we do not see or store your full card number.
- Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location from your IP address, through Google Analytics when enabled, plus server logs.
How we use it
- To run the Service: costing, quotes, invoices, labels, reminders and reports.
- To read receipts, invoices and recipe photos you upload using an AI model, so prices and recipes fill in automatically.
- To send emails you ask for (sign-in links, quotes and invoices to your customers, reminders) and service emails about your account and trial.
- To bill paid plans, prevent abuse, and understand how the product is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your recipes or customer data to advertise to you or others.
Who processes data for us
- Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage.
- Vercel: website and app hosting.
- Resend: sending email.
- Anthropic: reading uploaded receipts, invoices and recipe photos.
- Dodo Payments: subscription checkout, billing and tax (merchant of record).
- Google: sign-in with Google and, when enabled, Google Analytics.

Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember calculator values you choose to save when you create an account. When Google Analytics is enabled it sets its own cookies to measure visits. [COOKIE CONSENT APPROACH — COUNSEL TO CONFIRM.]
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account we delete your data within [RETENTION PERIOD], except billing records we must keep by law.
Your choices and rights
- You can view, edit, export and delete your business data in the app, and delete your account at any time.
- Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your information and to opt out of certain uses. Email [PRIVACY EMAIL] and we will respond within the time the law requires.
- If you are a customer of a baker who uses BakerTab, contact that baker first; we will help them respond to your request.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access to each business’s data is restricted to its members, and uploaded files are private by default. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at [SECURITY EMAIL] if you find a problem.
Children
BakerTab is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We’ll update the date above when this policy changes and email you about material changes.
